Ok so this is a very old building. NOt a 5 diamond hotel, but great, reasonable price, a block off the Mag Mile, and dogs stay free! 16 floors, minus the 13th of course, valet service ($48 a night to park with in & out service as much as you want. The rooms are small, old, but very clean. Flat screen tv, good cable, shower worked fine. Lots of great shopping & dining right outside the door. The service, the people there, so nice & friendly! I was very happy with my stay & I'd stay there again

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to directions. The room was larger than anticipated (I had a 2 full bed room) and it had a mini fridge and microwave!!! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Overall, the room was very "homey" and enjoyable. The bathroom was large compared to the standard hotel bathroom and the shower had great water pressure. I was disappointed that they did not have a fitness center, however, it is a small hotel compared to the others in the area and they likely lack the space. FREE WIFI - I never got booted off either! Fantastic location just steps off Michigan Ave and near countless amazing restaurants and Navy Pier. There is a very nice parking structure about 1 block east of this hotel on Ontario St. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area of Chicago.

Well I consider, that you get what you pay for! $65.00 per night w/ Cheapair.com With that said, my first time trip to Chicago has so far been, nothing short of enjoyable. From the time I stepped off the plane, the people here have been so friendly. I've lived in CA. my entire life and this friendly stuff is new to me. Anyway the stay here so far is great. Got here late Monday, checked in hassle free. The room was upgraded for $10.a day more, a week before my stay here. Probably was not needed but it was done over he phone. My reservation was made for Monday to Saturday. On day 4 now and so far so good. I will give more info after I leave on Saturday. I am anal about filters in my rooms where ever I stay. And this issue is w/all hotels, motels etc... Disgusting everywhere so not surprised by my find. Ok well as promised I am rating this again after check out. For the money, I stand by my original rating. Check out was confusing because I noticed a charge on my bank statement a week prior to check in, that was revised at check out. Advice for all you last minute people. Don't to it if you have a train or plane to catch. I made it with in minutes. Totally my fault. Lol I never learn. I'm coming back to the area and used Hotwire .com. Will stay at the Felix Hotel for $55.00 per night. I'll hope there is a big difference from a 4 star hotel and a 2 to 3 star? The women staff here were friendly, funny, and polite. From the housekeepers to front desk.
